Financial Assistance from IZFS
Through grant support from the National Institutes of Health and other organizations, the International Zebrafish Society (IZFS) is pleased to be able to offer financial assistance for the 18th International Zebrafish Conference (IZFC).
Generally, applicants will be prioritized if they are IZFS members who are undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs and early career principal investigators, with consideration of need as well as diversity of gender, race and geographic location. All attendees are encouraged to apply.
The number of grants and the amount for each grant will depend on the total number of applications received, and available funding. Notifications will be made in early May.
Travel Grants
- In-person attendees may apply for assistance in the form of a travel grant (average $500 USD) which will be processed after the conference.
Virtual Registration Grants
- Virtual attendees may apply for registration fee reduction (average $50 USD) which will be processed after the conference
